Welcome to the Myersverse!
Hi, my nugs, my name is Kenneth W. Myers and I’m a writer of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and strange fiction! What is strange fiction? Well, it’s those stories that take the what-if questions to a little bit of the extreme. Many of these stories focus on normal day life with elements of other genres, like Sci-Fi and Fantasy, to build on the concept and ask the larger questions. My goal with fiction is to help the reader, you, escape their normal world into one with different conflicts and adventures.
A little bit about me. I graduated from Utah State University with my BS in English with an Emphasis in Creative Writing in 2017. Since then, I’ve been working on my fiction and becoming a better writer through short stories and early novel drafts. I spent 10 years in the Army National Guard as a Combat Medic and a Medical Officer. You may notice that I include some extra medical or military information in many of my stories, and it makes it a lot of fun for me to remember those times. I now live with my wife and dog in our own little bubble west of Salt Lake City, UT.
I believe in writing the worlds of tomorrow today, and that history repeats itself differently every time.
