Hi, I’m Kenneth W. Myers, a speculative fiction author drawn to the systems that shape our lives, especially the ones we’ve stopped questioning.

My writing explores forms of control: governmental, societal, and the subtle mechanisms that influence human behavior. I’m especially interested in worlds where the abnormal becomes normal to those living inside the system.

My current novel, Please Subscribe, examines a subscription-based society where every life choice carries a cost, and the enforcer who realizes the system he serves may have orchestrated his family’s destruction. This project is currently in the querying process.

Drawing from my time in the military and my career in Quality Assurance, I’ve found no shortage of questions about authority, structure, and human resilience. These experiences continually feed my imagination and shape the stories I tell.
